We arrived after 6 p.m. on Saturday and found a street parking nearby after a few loops around the area, as we didn’t plan to use the paid parking lot in the hotel basement. When we checked in, the front desk warned us that our car could be towed overnight and claimed that police often ignore the posted parking signs. This was unsettling and gave the impression that the area might be unsafe or that local enforcement is inconsistent. However, it later seemed more likely that the hotel staff was trying to pressure us into using their paid parking to generate extra income from guests. This experience left us feeling uneasy and skeptical about the hotel's intentions.

Nice hotel, but not expectations for the price!

One of the most important reasons I selected the Atrium Hotel was the free shuttle to the cruise port. I reserved 4 rooms months before we arrived in Vancouver and when we checked in, I was told that the shuttle was completely booked. Four rooms for 1 night over ($1,600) and the hotel would not add another trip that morning. Someone should have told when I called to confirm the reservation to the shuttle time in advance.

This room was filthy, there was hair from past guests all over the floor and bathroom. Food crumbs everywhere, and smelled like stale body odour. The walls and everything were covered with dirt. Very disgusting.

Overall it was a pleasant stay. The bathroom needed to be cleaned better but the rest of the room was cleaned properly. The room next door was loud and had their tv even louder. But besides that it was good.
