The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel I’d located just a block from English Beach. A beautiful place to spend time watching the sunset. Excellent restaurant.

There were not amenities like mentioned in the website. There was a "computer area" but it was just a table w 3 computers in the middle of the lobby. Also you need to use your room key to access the hotel and use the elevator but for some reason it wouldnt work and i had to wait for stuff to open the door for me. Also the coffee machine did not work and i had 2 people try to figure it out only to change the machine. The place also felt and smelt stuffy and it wasnt super clean as there were bugs and random hairs throughout my room, on the bed, and even in the pillow. For the price, i expected a bit better.

The location was perfect ,walking distance to a family member home was like 4 mins.The bathroom was quite tiny. So getting ready was not smooth.The a/c was abit noisy But overall it was a nice room. It was a great location ,walking around was very nice .

It was an excellent stay with transportation, dining, shopping, attractions close by within walking distance and convenient commute. Hotel room worked for us, clean and good amenities. Reception and housekeeping staff are great. Overall we loved our stay and it will be our go to hotel for future stays in Vancouver! The following is a review from my daughter:) “There are also very good places to go and very near the hotel, like Red Umbrella Cafe, Yummy TOGO, and other nearby restaurants. And plus, English Bay beach is very near this hotel as well! BW plus sands hotel is really nice, I would go here again when I go back to Vancouver!”
