Excellent location for Stanley Park and Sunset Beach, and walkable to downtown. However - hotel looks dingy, all grey. Servicing of the room and bathroom was hit and miss, clean towels but beds not touched. We returned one afternoon at 4.00, nothing done. Breakfast at the adjacent bar took exactly one hour to arrive. We appreciated a fridge but there was NO SAFE, not even at the front desk. So it was ok, but very basic.

The location of this hotel is perfect for Vancouver. Walking distance to Stanley Park. Great options for food. Near the beach. Beds and bedding super comfortable. We had a late flight home and they stored our luggage for several hours. Overall this hotel was great. It’s just dated. Could definitely use a facelift.

The rooms and staff were nice. However, the picture of the exterior suggested a quiet street with little traffic. This was not reality. The street noise from cars, buses, and drinking at a bar down below kept me awake most hours of the night.
