Hidden fees. Got charged an extra $47 for amenities I did not need. (WiFi, gym, etc). Friendliness was not a priority here but everyone was nice enough I guess. Great location for those who can walk around the riverfront across the street. There’s a hop on-hop off bus offered but you don’t need it. Quiet little town with some interesting historical events that took place but only need one night here. Good just for a short getaway. No frills here. Very peaceful area though. The bathroom was large in the king room with riverfront view. Big windows you can open. Ac gets nice & cold & very cold mini refrigerator was a plus. Beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. No extra blanket in room. A little outdated with dim lamps to light the room. Sink was a little clogged but no biggie. Hair dryer, iron, & ironing board available in room. Water gets hot fast. Breakfast was decent. Wouldn’t stay here again only bc I was charged extra fees I was unaware I’d have to pay.

I did not get the riverfront view room like I had requested per my email verification. The bed was very hard. The pillows were like crumbled paper and flat. The refrigerator temperature did not work. The 2nd drawer underneath the TV would not stay closed. Upon further review of the drawer I saw where the hotel tried to stuff paper on the left side of it to keep it closed but it didn't work. With many updates this hotel could be a gem. It is in a good location just need some TLC.

Proper name for a small brand hotel. The service was impeccable, Christy and the front desk staff were great.The hotel is in the middle of great restaurants. Don’t miss the Corner bar down the street and the Wednesday Steak Night

I like that the hotel was located downtown in walking distance of boutiques, restaurants, and historical sites. However, the hotel charged an extra 40 dollars after I paid in full through Expedia stating it was mandatory for usage of the pool, safe, and WiFi; which I never used!

Lost the Thrill

Probably have stayed at this hotel about 30 nights in the last ten years but this time it wasn’t as the past. The breakfast has never regained the pre-Covid standard but worst was someone was slamming doors at 2:00 Am on Sunday morning. I never was able to fall back to sleep. Additionally, check in was terribly slow. Should not take 30 minutes
