I struggle to understand how there are any positive reviews for this place. The room that I was placed in had a smelly, likely moldy carpet, uncleaned curtains and bed covering, peeling paint on the ceiling above the bed, and rusted fixtures. When I brought up safety concerns about mold and peeling paint, I was told that the smell was from outside (but I could clearly smell the difference between the sulfuric air and the seemingly moldy carpet) and that the peeling paint would be cleaned if it fell on me (meaning after my health was even more compromised). The bedsheets and towels had yellow stains that the management claimed were not stains as we were both staring right at them. When I asked to leave and be refunded the rest of my stay, I was "upgraded" to a room with all the same issues except that the ceiling was stained instead of plagued by peeling paint. The staff left a window open in the bathroom and I came back to hundreds of bugs, meaning that the bathroom remained unavailable for use. This place is decrepit and dirty and run by staff that will gaslight you when you bring up concerns. I cannot recommend less that anyone stay here.
The paint was peeling off the ceiling above the bed.

Stayed 2 nights in a spa room on the upper floor. They saved us from a horrible experience at the Copthorne, good rooms but can use an upgrade. Spa is good but a bit dated, lots of mildew in the bathroom. The bedding’s were a bit yellowish, pillows were really old and not fluffy at all. But generally a great location and clean enough room for a couple of nights.

Booked the "private pool" room, which isn't really a pool. Listing also says a patio area is included, this is not true at least not for this room. Bathroom in dire need of updating- quite a bit of rust and mould throughout and ceiling paint peeling off in the room as well.

I highly recommend this place. The suite was really big and comfortable with a couch and lounge chairs. The bed was firm but super comfortable. It was also amazingly clean and along with the friendly staff. There is nothing I could fault about this place and I would definitely book here again when we go back
