Service was wonderful, breakfast bar was great, hotel was very clean and everyone was soo friendly!! Price was very good. Would definitely stay again!!
This stay was not consistent with previous stays with Hyatt. Issues we encountered:
-Very little (no?) parking, $65 a night for valet
-AC only worked for awhile and then had to be manually switched off and back on to work. Had maintence sent up and they said we would have to keep opening the panel every couple of hours and to that to have air.
- No air or fan in bathroom, very hot
-No air in halls of hotel
- When we opened the pull out bed, it had used, balled up sheets and blankets from the previous guest
-VERY noisy with traffic outside, sirens were pretty constant all day and night
-In the shower, your choices are either no water pressure (like a trickle) with a decent temperature or good pressure at scalding hot temps
-Bathroom had a heavy glass door that slammed shut loudly when you didn’t close it slowly by hand
-Room phone did not work, just static
- There is no restaurant like advertised. There is a list of a few items and the person working the front desk has to leave their post to actually go cook the food.
-The one positive was the young man working the front desk who did everything from check people in to cook pizzas. I felt bad for him, as this place needs more than he can do. Breakfast was okay. Neighborhood was so so.

The breakfast was great and head of kitchen accommodating Only suggestion is room attention- to mold grouting in bath and towel rack in shower area was all rusted -simple fix goes a long way to feeling clean and updated. Our stay was pleasant and so close to metro.

I hate to leave a bad review, just being honest
Parking was terrible. Struggled to find it (behind hotel) waited 30+ minutes for valet, had to circle block multiple times bc there wasn’t anywhere to wait. Neighborhood didn’t seem safe, sirens every hour all night long. Cost $65+ tax! AC didn’t work right. Beds were hard. Breakfast was barely warm. I would recommend staying a little further out of the city & using public transportation.
I appreciated a slightly earlier check in and them keeping our bags for the day until we could get a room. The room was very nice and the staff was friendly. Our a/c broke on night 1, though, and we were told they would get it fixed. They gave us a fan to get through the night but when we got back to our room later that day it was 89 degrees. My husband finally went down and got a maintenance man who was able to fix it for us so we could get one good nights sleep. Overall it was a good hotel but a/c is important in DC in the summer so that was frustrating to not have for over half our stay. Also could use some better pillows and the free breakfast was convenient and nice but not the best. But it was free. Also, there is no parking so you do have to pay $65/night for valet.
The room was super dirty everywhere, when they gave me the room there was no ac, front desk told me they were going to sent Maintenace and he started to said that they were to old and since there was only one vent it would take time to cold, we waited 5 hours to cold and never cool down. To dry our hair the smoke detector went off and the maintenance person didn’t know what to do to turn in off, waited 1/2 hour in the room to the alarm to be fixed and nothing, next morning the same maintenance guy told us that he didn’t know what it was and he left the property without fixing it.
Thank God that I requested a room change otherwise that guy would leave us with the alarm going off
Overall super bad experience
Won’t recommend it to anytime to stay plus to many homeless and drunk people around
Parking is $65 valet or a outside and outside there’s no parking at any time

I did enjoy the stay. I can say that the beds in the sheets on the beds should’ve been much cleaner, but other than that, the employees and staff were very nice in any problems or concerns that we had was taken care of quickly.
The hotel had a stinky odor even in the rooms. We had to be moved to a different room because someone was smoking marijuana in the room next to us. There was mold on the walls in bathroom and the first room we were in there was some kind of tint peeling from the mirror. Would never stay there again.

Further from the center of the city than I thought. Customer service needs work. No extra blanket or pillows. No microwave in room. Tried to get hot water they didn't have but someone at front desk went to the back and handed me a half cut of hot water from somewhere. Couldn't exit on departure sliding doors stopped working.
