Great location, horrible bed and noisy trains

The room was just as described, it was neat and tidy we cannot really fault the room, or the staff, they were also very nice. What was the reason for a poor rating is the bed, the bed was a horrible cheap bed (actually 2 small single beds) that was hard and the most uncomfortable bed i have ever slept in. One night i slept in the arm chair as it was more comfortable, my partner slept on the couch one night also. We had a 1 bed apartment on the 6th floor and the noise from the trains of a night was almost unbearable, so so noisy it was horrible. We were both so tired from our 4 night stay. I wouldn't stay here again.

BLOOD STAINS ON SHEETS

Absolutely horrible. We don’t check in till pass 2pm. There were about 20 luggage’s in the lobby. Everyone was watching the AO semi finals at 2:30pm. People changing in the gym bathroom. When we finally got to the room there were BLOOD STAINS on the bed sheets. Horrific, unacceptable. The gentleman was kind enough to replace them but this is still unacceptable from management. Disappointed & Disgraceful. People need to investigate who can run & operate hotels. I’m no complainer or harsh critic but any normal customer would simply be left disgusting.

I was a little worried reading the reviews, a lot a negative reviews however i am so happy i stayed here. Easy checkin, close to everything, walked everywhere did not use the car, lots of food choice to eat. The apartment was nice, only down fall was the shower the tiles could of done with a nice scrub. I would come and stay again.

Great stay in Melbourne

This was such a conveniently located hotel in the city with a short walk to Southern Cross station and a tram line stop very close by. We stayed in a two bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with a well equipped kitchen / lounge / dining. We were also given a welcomed upgrade.

Great location across the road from the aquarium, short walk to DFOs and the Casino. Close to trams/public transport so it was very easy to get around. We stayed with our young kids. The rooms were sectioned off with slideable doors and only air con in the living areas so we needed to leave the doors open since there were no fans. The balcony railing was stressful with young kids and being on the 9th floor they weren't aloud out there alone. The accommodation was average but super convenient for a short stay.

The service at this property was terrible. We arrived at 4:30pm after a long drive from Sydney and were made to wait half an hour before we could access our room due to door maintenance. If we had arrived at 2pm we would have had to wait until 5pm. The car lift was tiny and the staff failed to ask us what type of car we have, so our Kluger got damaged in the process of using it. We then were told to use the car park a street away which made it inconvenient for us to access the hotel.
