The property was in a great location. And it was very clean. I liked the empty fridge, and the people at the desk. However, I hated my room key, which only worked after I had it fixed (12 times), and then used 6-7 tries. And I didn't like the noisy air conditioner.

AC did not work all week, broken shower faucet, blinds would not raise, outlets didn’t work. Rooftop food was terrible. Front desk did nothing about what we told them was wrong. Dark, dingy, dirty. Enhanced lobby photos online very untruthful.

The gentleman who checked us in was kind of rude. He was in the middle of checking us in and took a phone call and left us just standing there. The shade in the room was broken and the bathroom was kind of dirty. Not worth what I paid. Just an okay stay.

We are specifically going to NYC to go to Metropolitan Opera, and this hotel is just fantastically located. You just need to cross the street and you are there. Other than that - friendly and courteous staff, clean and roomy suites.

We booked this hotel for proximity to Central Park and because it had a pool. The pool was closed for a scheduled maintenance one whole afternoon. It was open for one hour before maintenance and set to reopen at 5. Why wasn’t maintenance scheduled during none open hours? Front desk clerk was dismissive and rude. Room was hot - difficult to maintain consistent coolness. Decor is tired. Bathrooms are not vented space Bonaire flow and remained humid; bathrooms ridiculously small and air radiator loud.
