This is a delightful resort to stay in. It is nestled in the woods. The scenery is serene & beautiful. They have hiking trails, a wonderful golf course, pool, hot tub & even horseback riding. The Inn itself is warm & inviting. Our room had a fireplace with comfortable chairs that we could enjoy. Everything was clean & neat. I highly recommend this resort.
We had a wonderful time. The room was comfortable - the views were amazing, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Saw a beautiful deer while driving in.

Disliked: Amenities
I didn’t like the rude people who brought dogs that barked constantly and when I called you never told the people to calm their dogs down and the class of people seemed lower.i have been coming here for 20 years! You were under staffed in brassies ( which made it miserable)
Client s in 1202 and 1203 ldidnt pick up dogs poop trash was overflowing at cabins an ice broken. Nye food not good like last year. Inexperienced meat cutters at meat station

The rooms need to be updated but the indoor pool and restaurant and bar was great
The property was beautiful and the resort was warm and cozy. The room and facilities were all clean and the staff was kind and accommodating. Would recommend staying here. We did horseback riding from the stables as well and were very happy with the ladies working in the stables that made us feel welcome and comfortable on our ride.
Another great stay at Brasstown Valley! It’s only an hour and a half from our house, so it’s a great overnight getaway destination.
It was decorated for Christmas and we had a great time!

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
We were there for the Thanksgiving feast. It was really under staff,so you know what happens when you're understaffed everything runs behind time. So making reservations either checking into your room or checking in for your dinner you got to expect possible for 30 to an hour wait to be able to check in your room from your long trip to get there. And the same way when you have reservations for dinner and it takes you an hour past your reservation time. It was like that for the three days that we were there. I gave it a four-star because of the politeness of the staff knowing that they were understaffed.

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
We love the fact that there is hiking right next to the property. The lobby is lovely as is the view from the lobby. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. I also enjoyed the gift shop.
While the food for the Thanksgiving Buffet was delicious, the 40 minute wait to get in was frustrating. We arrived 5 minutes before our reservation time, only to find a long line. The people in front of us had a reservation 15 minutes after us, but they still got in before us because it was first come first serve. That didn't seem very fair. I certainly understand a wait on Thanksgiving, but please look at your policy and seat those with an earlier reservation first.
Our room definitely needed an update and some TLC. One of the outlets in the bathroom didn't work. The magnifying mirror was so wobbly I couldn't use it. The top of the blind was loose and hanging vertically, which looked very bad.
We love this resort, and certainly hope some attention will be paid to details in the rooms.

Property was dated and my room smelled like an ashtray. Property was beautiful. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
We stay at this property several times a year. This particular trip the 1st room was not cleaned properly. The 2nd room they put us in the fireplace was not working and had outside debris in the floor of a "cleaned" room. It was a disappoint because this is definitely not the norm for this place. Hopefully this was just a bad weekend for the cleaning crew.
Staff was great! There are walking trails on the property so you didn’t have to leave the resort. Multiple facilities and activities to choose from.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
We stayed in one of the cottages, 1302 and none of the outside lights except the one on the porch. No lighting at the steps from parking or the sidewalk. Pitch black in the dark. Heating unit in the room squeaked of and on the whole time.
Good hotel, lacking a little customer satisfaction
The place was nice, maybe a little outdated. We stayed in a cottage, and the guests beneath us had a flooding issue happen overnight causing them to bother us at 5am. This was no fault of anyone's, but our water was shut off by the time we were ready for the day. The hotel clerks didn't ask about our stay upon checkout, so there was no ability to let them know of our discomforts.
