Have stayed at this property for work so knew it was a good place to stay. Great location and very close to shopping, good supermarket and places to eat out. Only little annoyance was arriving at hotel about 3.15pm after travelling and room was still not available immediately. But staff were very apologetic and helpful.

We have stayed at this property before and choose to stay again as we were impressed. However, this time we were unimpressed. The same room type was smaller, we could hear people wheel there suitcases around above outside. The carpets were stained, the furniture shabby, the bed had big dents in and the hairdryer didn't work. The staff at reception were lovely and welcoming.

Great Wellington CBD place to stay

Great place to stay in Wellington CBD. Would happily stay again. We checked in late and keys left in lockbox. Clean and well supplied with quality body wash, shampoo etc and sustainable tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Bed comfortable. Small balcony facing north. Fabulous location just off the corner of Willis St and Cuba St.

Not a great experience. The pros: The room had everything required and a decent layout. It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is esy walking distance to the cablecar and shops. The cons: When we arrived we were advised that we needed to park in one building and then walk out through the hotel and round the corner to a second building which was a pain with all our luggage especially as the steep slope on the road made wheeling cases difficult. The rooms air-conditioning was so loud it couldn't be used at night. It sounded like someone emptying a bathtub of water from the cealing above the bed down pipes in the walls every 7 mins aaaaarg!!!! You also couldn't sleep with the windows open because of the noise outside, traffic, building, nightlife. We ended up getting little to no sleep, thank goodness it was only one night.
