Our second stay at SACO on this delightful street. The flats are large, but sparsely furnished: there is just enough of everything and no more. Showers are just big enough, and a little flimsy. Most flats involve a short walk along an outside porch on each floor to access. We loved our 1-BEDROOM last time. It was not available this time, so we had to get the slightly more expensive “Office” 1-BR. It’s supposed to be bigger, but all that meant was a bigger bedroom with a desk along the wall, BUT the living room was half the size. It did have a bigger shower stall, though. Besides the location & sense of space in each flat, the very best thing about SACO Holborn is the staff, who man the office from 9am-7pm. Every single one of them is a jewel: friendly, quick to help, responsive to your needs. This time we had a minor crisis with a FedEx pickup of our bag. The staff were incredibly patient & kind during the 3 days it took after we left to sort that out. I particularly want to thank Sweety & Tanarat.

Spacious room with kitchen and laundry

I found this room when looking for a reasonably-priced room near Kings Cross in London with a queen-sized bed, a mini-fridge, and enough space to move around. This checks all those boxes and more! Most of the other rooms I found around this price range were much smaller, had twin/full size beds, and no fridge/kitchen. Nice bonuses for me were wifi, a clothes washing machine, and very friendly staff nearby. The location is nothing fancy, but there are pubs & shops nearby, it was quiet at night, and I felt safe walking nearby. This apartment-hotel is highly recommended as long as you don't need extra hotel amenities like room service or a pool. I will definitely consider this location for future stays!

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly throughout our stay. When we discovered that the sofa bed wouldn’t unfold, the gentleman at reception promptly arranged a folding bed as an alternative, which we really appreciated. However, the room lacked air conditioning—only fans were provided—so we had to keep the windows open at night. Unfortunately, this made it difficult to sleep due to constant noise from the street below, including sounds from nearby restaurants, trucks, and a construction site.

Convenient location, including near public transportation, restaurants, grocery store. Good size apartment. Only issue was the combo washer/dryer, which we couldn't figure out how to use properly, Staff admitted it was "unusual," and yet there were no instructions. They said they'd correct the "no instructions" part, so hopefully this problem will be resolved.

Good location with dining nearby. Nice having 2 bedrooms and a kitchen, but Apartment was small and stufffy and the layout of the rooms was awkward. There wasn’t enough toilet paper in the room or sheets for the beds and we had to ask for them. Not a bad place, but could be better.

Very good customer services to a point👍 No wifi password, got in touch with customer service to try and sort it out. They were unable to help🙄 The apartment was clean to a point,but needs a good refurbishment, door handle hanging off,missing parts to bathroom furniture. Bath had what looked like dirt in numerous parts,but was in fact damage to the actual bath. So was not appealing to use. Door needs trimming so it not so hard to open The apartment need a good refurbishment to bring it in line for somewhere in central London.

Terrific location. Room smelled a little musty upon entering but it did clear up after we opened windows. Furniture and furnishing was very basic but totally fine. Was great to have a kitchen and a washer for our stay in London. Staff is very helpful.
