Perfect location near mass transit center for coming in and out of the city of York, not too close, but walkable for sure. Then getting into the city itself for sightseeing was also walkable, so convenience was a big plus. The complete breakfast was simple to order from a small menu of choices. The kitchen/ inn attendent was sure to meet our needs and answer questions. all with a caring smile. The bedroom was adequate and comfortable for two people. I'd choose this house again.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Property is located in the city, walking distance to most major attractions. Breakfast was very good and served to your table. Parking is at front of the house with extra charge.

We really enjoyed our stay at Saint Mary’s guest house. It is only a 10 minute walk from the train station and is close to the city center too! Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Highly recommend this B&B.

Good cooked breakfast and pleasant service. Bathroom was a bit small. Room was front of house, mainly quiet, occasional train noise. Easy checkin/checkout. Welcomed the available parking, though £12.5/night Pleasant 10 min riverside walk to restaurants

Our favourite place to stay!

This was our perfect idea for accommodations in the heart of York. The staff were absolutely lovely and the breakfast was amazing each day.

Very nice people here! It is an old guesthouse so the fact I was on the 3rd was ok, the stairs were solid but narrow so if I had more luggage than a small backpack it would have been hard. No issues with the other floors though. So to restate floor 3, room 10 quaint room for person with very little luggage.
