Toilets for Midgets

I liked my stay, but I requested a handicap Assessable room and there were none available. My husband who is 69 had knee replacement surgery 3 times in 2 years and it was super hard trying to use the toilet that was very low to the ground. Almost seems like it was made for a midget. Upon requesting another room with a higher toilet or an accessible toilet. I was told that all toilets were the same in every room even the mobility assessable rooms. The refrigerator was cooling and not getting cold although it was set to the coldest temperature. Now that we’re back home, my husband is severe pain with his knees. The hotel was nice but we won’t be revisiting.

Excellent!

I had an excellent stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton Deerfield Beach Boca Raton. From check-in to check-out, the service was smooth and professional. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. The location is fantastic—convenient and close to everything. The entire property, including the lobby, hallways, and rooms, was spotless and well-maintained. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

I have stayed here several times and the consistently excellent service that Steve gives cannot be overlooked. Every single time I interact with him, he is outstandingly excellent efficient considerate and friendly. He should be running this hotel with the type of work ethics he has. Steve is a gem. The room was clean and the housekeeping staff were helpful and friendly.

Absolutely Disgusting – Save Your Money and Sanity! I don’t even know where to begin. This was hands down one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. We paid over $700 for a two-night stay, plus $55 per guest per day for parking, which is outrageous in itself. But the condition of the hotel was beyond unacceptable. Let’s start with the toilet seat, which looked like it had been chewed by a dog—completely damaged and filthy. The shower was covered in dirt and thick soap scum, making it feel like a health hazard rather than a place to get clean. The couch was stained and soiled, and the sofa bed had sheets with yellow stains that were so disgusting we couldn’t let anyone sleep on it. We had to go out and buy an air mattress for our guest to avoid having them sleep in filth. This is an old, outdated hotel with no signs of renovation, which would be fine if they at least kept it CLEAN. Cleanliness is a basic expectation, especially at this price point. I voiced my concerns to management and, to their credit, they waived $117 off the bill—but that didn’t come close to making up for the horrible conditions we endured. Do yourself a favor: skip this place. It’s not worth the money, the stress, or the disappointment. I wish I could give zero stars.
