Wonderful accomodation

Check in was a breeze with super helpful and friendly staff. I had a complication which was dealt with swiftly and professionally. I was upgraded to a king single as I was alone and the room was actually nicer than a standard queen room. It's always beautiful and clean, everything you need is supplied and the rooms are very spacious. I always sleep well there as you can barely hear the neighbouring guests. I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the central atrium thingy, it is unique and rather wonderful, with real plants in places (even the fake ones look real) so that gives it a really nice vibe. There is a safe and secure smoker's lounge on the premises which is kept lovely and clean. This is also a unique feature, and as a lone (smoking) traveller, I appreciate the safety of not having to smoke on the street outside. It is definitely my favourite place to stay when visiting the city; either for leisure or for business.

We had another great stay at the Grand Chancellor Hotel. I received a room upgrade, and everything was clean, comfortable, and well presented. Always a reliable and pleasant experience.

The room was good but the internet kept dropping out
