Perfectly situated at the doorstep of Chinatown and close to QV and other shopping areas. Easy walk to almost anywhere in CBD. The room was very clean and tidy, and the staff were great. Great bed and TV and the cleaners leaving chocolate was a very nice touch. A coffee plunger or capsule machine would have enhanced the room, but no complaints at the great VFM price. Highly recommended.

Fantastic service and very comfortable room. Bath is a great size for a good soak. Was also a nice surprise they were offering Easter activities over the Easter weekend, and the entrance was really nicely decorated for Easter. We ordered room service one night and it was fast delivery and good quality food. Overall we were very impressed and would happily stay here for a city getaway weekend again.

Special birthday Melbourne stay

Well appointed hotel, small room but has everything you need. The room smelt of mould, quite strong. I mentioned it to concierge that if someone could have a look at the drain in the show as I think that's where it's coming from but no one turned up? Other than that we had a lovely time.

Enjoyed the rooms at the Rydges, very comfortable bed, very quiet and slept very well. Very convenient to Her Majesty’s theatre where we were seeing a show and close to Chinatown for lots of food options.
