Convenient. Hotel is honesty a bit tired, could use a refresh. Very good checkin, surprisingly very good food (really good quality and value). Rather restrictive with respect to upgrading (rooms available, but no "deals" to upgrade room). Non accommodating late check out even for Hotels.com VIP Gold status and/or American Express Platinum. Only get 15 minutes "grace" on top of 12noon check-out. Thereafter clock starts at $25/hr. Rather disappointing as housekeeping was still cleaning normal rooms at 3:30pm.

Hotel was very nice. However the soap dispenser in the bath was broken. I went to the front desk to request soap to take a shower the attendant said he didn’t have any and the staff was gone. I asked if he had any in storage and he said no. He showed no empathy nor did he offer a discount because of the inconvenience. Bottom line bring your own soap and shampoo.

Hotel was definitely unique and beautiful. Staff was helpful and friendly. Parking is strictly valet. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was a good size but the shower took a few minutes to warm up. The diner served good food and had great staff. Take the stairs, they’re are lined with a variety of autographed photos. The property is in a safe and quiet neighborhood.

Nice little hotel near Universal Studio with a trolley to the park. Pool and gym are nice. Internet is slow and spotty. Rooms were clean but small. I really wish the room refrigerator was bigger. It's incredibly small and not at all useful for an extended stay. The staff was amazing.
