Clean , well presented hotel in a great location for visits to The Edinburgh Playhouse and the St James Quarter Shopping Centre. Fabulous breakfast and friendly, polite staff. Lovely touches in our room (premium king) included a fridge containing soft drinks, bottles of water and biscuits. My husband even received a birthday card and a whisky minature to mark his 60th birthday. Just lovely! We would definitely return.

Front desk staff were very helpful and kind. Only flaw was the property manager that came to look at our tv (that didn’t work properly also it says it has Netflix on it however it does not) he was quite rude, dismissive and short with us when I asked about the tv. Breakfast staff were very kind and helpful there was lots of options for everyone. I wouldn’t hesitant to return to this hotel however the manager we dealt with could use an attitude adjustment

We had a lovely stay, the bed was very comfy and the contents of the fridge were free and replaced daily (including Irn Bru and caramel wafers). The location is excellent, walking distance from all the main sites and right by a shopping centre. Our one complaint is the tv wasn't a smart tv so if you need to catch up on the latest episode of the traitors, you're in trouble!

The location of the hotel was ideal for us with everything we did within walking distance.The tram stop down the road handy for visiting the Royal yacht and back and for to the airport. Plenty of places to eat,and drink around too. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast at the hotel and had something different every day. All staff were always pleasant and helpful. My husband asked on reception if it was possible to have another hole put in his belt, reception contacted the maintenance man and he did it, no problem. We had quite a laugh with him about it. After checking out we were able to leave our luggage at the hotel and enjoy another day out before our flight home. On returning to collect our luggage we sat and waited for an hour or so before leaving and enjoyed a cup of tea which was very welcome. Staff were brilliant and so friendly. The room was great, some nice little touches like earplugs and the fridge topped up daily. I would say the bedding wasn't as soft as I would've liked but thats a minor issue. We did find the air freshener as soon as we walked into the hotel quite overpowering but again a minor issue. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would be more than happy to stay again. We would definitely recommend it. 🌟

We booked Hotel Indigo lass than an hour from check in, Andrew and the rest of the staff were scoping and accommodating, they turned our Edinburgh experience around so fast. Rooms were very comfortable and cozy, great location for our needs. Can not say enough good things about this establishment.

Reception was friendly and helpful. Room was lovely, warm and spacious. Even though on street level with tram passing was so quiet. Great nights sleep. Breakfast was of very good quality and lovely gentleman serving. So helpful. Hotel is in an amazing position if going to the playhouse for a concert. Tram stop literally 40 paces from hotel. Variety of restaurants within few minutes walk. Secure parking 3 mins away. Can’t wait to revisit and stay here.

Parking was a couple of blocks away and cost us $75 for two days. They said we were getting a discount but I think that's a ridiculous price. Wasn't really walkable to old town so we had to take a cab. Nice hotel but I don't think I would stay here again.
