Very comfortable.

Very comfortable, amaaaazing shower. Got a room with 2 queens though and while the beds felt smaller than queens, they worked just fine & were comfortable. Less than 15 minutes from the hotel to the rental car return at the airport. Great price considering the location.

I booked this hotel to utilize the free airport shuttle. So if your flight leaves early don’t count on this hotel to get you there. And also their breakfast doesn’t start til 7 so that is pretty much out also if you are flying out of Fort Lauderdale. Hotel is a bit run down but the pool was warm. Needs repair in places. And the setting was lovely.

The hotel was fine. Breakfast items pretty much gone by 9. Staff was very helpful and great. Our stay started off badly when the free Airport Shuttle drove past us twice at the airport. The driver stopped both times for 1-2 minutes, yelled LA QUINTA, jumped back in in one minute and sped off. By the time we collected our luggage and moved around another hotel shuttle, he was speeding off. He made minimal effort. Compared to other hotel shuttles, the shuttle was a joke. After waiting an hour, three phone calls, we just did a Uber.

A Great Place while awaiting a cruise

A great location for travellers awaiting a cruise or a flight. Shuttles provided to both locations. Reasonably priced with nice rooms.

We stayed here before and after a cruise. We waited at the airport for 2 hours for their shuttle. They were terribly understaffed for cruise season. We booked 3 people in our room. There was no bedding for the pullout and only 2 towels. I waited for 30 minutes at the front desk to get the bedding. The room was extremely noisy. We were privy to many conversations in the hallway. The room was fairly clean, but the common areas were not clean and in disrepair. The elevator was extremely slow and the stairs were outside. Local restaurants are a 15 minute walk, however sidewalks are sketchy and it doesn't feel safe after dark. The luggage storage area was in a locked conference room, however when we went to retrieve our luggage, there was a random individual loitering in the locked room. The free airport shuttle does not start service before 7 am. We had to hire another way to get to the airport.

The property is very dated, needs refurbishing. We stayed two nights before our cruise, and one night after. The room the staff sent us was not the one on our receipt, and was neither assessable or cleaned. We finally got that remedied. There our limited options for eating near the hotel. Had planned to stay again in March, but will book somewhere else.
