Compare Cheap Hotels in Hawaii Island

The lagoon was amazing!! I do suggest putting more public showers that people can wash up in around the property. The hotel room was extremely spacious as well. One thing I do suggest is making it more handicap accessible and easier to walk around with large suitcases. Overall really good resort!!!

The breakfast menu was very fresh. The staff was very attentive. The air conditioning was very affective.

First thing I checked in and I had ocean front room and instead they gave me 2 floor room that the view was the first floor roof , I went to guest service and they did not help me at all , I had to request a manager to show them the view of the room I booked and the one they gave me , she then proceeded to help me and gave me the one I purchased, her name was Mailie , the beach in front of the hotel is used by locals and anyone , there is not exclusively like they show on pics here ,I fine to stay here but is way overpriced

Everything was wonderful except our room was placed furthest away from the main pool and bistro/breakfast. It’s very difficult for someone with disabilities to go back and forth from our room to the main area. We made our concerns known to Kai but he said there was nothing he could for us. It felt like he didn’t really make a concerted effort and just said everything was fully booked. This was on a Wednesday evening. There was barely anyone walking round and there were only 2 cars parked by our building, so that made no sense for a fully booked premise on a Wednesday evening.

Location was great. Walkable to town which is right there. Partial view room was great. Had our own “back deck.” Water and ice machine were nice. Coffee bar in the am was very basic. Just coffee. Pay for parking $25/night and make sure you park in the lines. We received a less than polite call informing us we were parked over the lines (I explained it was bc the person we were next to was over the line) and was told they would just charge us for two spaces then. Staff was less than friendly. I received one friendlier good morning during our two day stay. Pool looked nice. Entry way ambiance was nice but it didn’t match the rest of the hotel.
