This property was beautiful top to bottom very well maintained. The pool and entertainment areas were exceptional. Only complaint would be the on premise food options are very limited.

The hotel left a positive impression — very clean, well-maintained grounds, and polite staff. The location is beautiful, and the beach is calm and great for swimming. On the downside, there are no umbrellas on the beach, which can be uncomfortable under the strong sun; the hotel feels a bit dated; and there are no activities or entertainment on site, which could make the stay more engaging.

Nice clean rooms, only downside was it is a bit of a drive to go to the nice beaches.

Beautiful property. One problem was no made service until 4th day. They got the garbage and gave us coffee on day 3 when I complained.

We always love our time at Royal Kona. The staff is awesome. Sonclose to everything in Downtown Kona. If you want to be able to walk to the tourist core of kona, this is it. Spring for Ocean view, it changes the experience dramatically. We live here and go for a staycation. We go from restaurant to restaurant and meet people and have drinks and apps after some adventure during the day. Then walk back to room. If you are after a higher end resort and want to stay on property then head out north to Kona coast and one of the fancier resorts.

We had a great stay. Pool was great and the walkability to beaches and shops.
