Clean room. Nice staff.

This is an inexpensive motel by L.A. standards and the room was clean. However, the bathtub drain did not work well, so water began filling the tub at the beginning of my shower, so I didn't finish. The front desk offered to send a maintenance man, but I declined as it was 11 p.m. Also, the walkway to the elevator is outside and dark, so it's not secure, and the inside of the elevator was dirty.

It’s great iconic hotel. I do have to say it is quite outdated which I did figure but the amenities were not the best and the staff didn’t know basic things about the hotel for example where the ice machine was. But charging 75 a day to keep your car on the property was one of the most egregious things of the trip. I get paid parking the hotel I work at does it but 75 a night… that is definition of gouging your guests. Maybe tie in free or discounted parking for guests. Room was clean and tidy. Restroom was shockingly small though.

Staff is ALWAYS incredibly kind and helpful. Property is clean, maintained, a favorite for our visits to Hollywood in general.

Steak and Salmon dinner was over cooked We were disappointed that the hotel didn’t have a spa/ jacuzzi. $45 for mandatory Valet parking is too high. Hilton charges less
