Hotel Renew is a good but not outstanding property. On the plus side, the location is very good and it’s easy to find free on-street parking around nearby Queen Kapiʻolani Park. However, the room could use some updating, and amenities (towels, toiletries, etc.) could be improved. Staff is friendly.

Everything was great! Comfy beds, great walkable location, easy access to the beach and the hotels provide basics for day of lounging. This might seem like a strange complaint, but the air conditioning was too cold and hard to balance.

Room not cleaned daily. They charge a $50 resort fee. No microwave in room. Loud street noise. If you stay here, request a room higher than the 4th floor and facing the beach not the back street. Do not expect much from housekeeping. Valet parking is nice but you don't have an option and they charge $50/day. Location is good. You are about 1 block from the beach.

Very close to beach volleyball

The front desk staff were super helpful. It’s our 1st time visiting Hawaii, so we had lots of questions. It was so nice that they had beach towels and accessories, so we didn’t have to pack them. Also the hotel was less than a block to the beach. We were there for a beach volleyball tournament and the courts were at the end of the block.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel as a VIP thru Expedia membership for a day, and overall, it was a decent experience. The location couldn’t have been more convenient – just a short walk to the beach and surrounded by plenty of excellent food spots. Whether I wanted a quick bite or a more leisurely meal, everything was within easy reach, making it a perfect spot for anyone wanting to enjoy the area. As a VIP guest, I was looking forward to some extra perks, and while I did receive complimentary wine, there was a slight mix-up with the offering. Instead of the bottle of wine I was expecting, I was given two cans of wine due to availability. While this wasn’t quite what I envisioned, I appreciated the gesture, and the wine itself was surprisingly good. The hotel’s service was attentive, and the staff went out of their way to ensure I felt welcomed. Overall, the stay was pleasant, and despite the small hiccup with the wine, the convenience of the location and the overall experience made it a good visit. To anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to stay, try it here.

Hôtel dont les chambres sont mal entretenues. J'ai loué 4 chambres pour toute ma famille pour 6 jours. 3 chambres ont eu la visite 1 fois d'une femme de ménage qui a seulement déposé des serviettes. Ma chambre n'a vu aucune femme de ménage pendant ces 6 jours malgré nos demandes non suivies d'effet. Nous devions prendre des serviettes de plage pour nous doucher....
