Book Irving Convention Center Station hotels

The hotel itself was nice. The area surrounding it left you feeling a bit uneasy. There are two buildings next to the hotel, where you drive next to to enter the property, that are abandoned and have graffiti on them. Although, there did seem to be some work possibly being done on them. The room was basic, but nice. Our toilet handle did come off but maintenance showed up and fixed it. The breakfast, while a nice thought, was the same everyday we were there for a week. No changes whatsoever. The staff were nice but front desk was not always available, not sure why. While nothing was seriously wrong with our stay, I'm not sure it would be my first choice for another visit.

Breakfast selection was a little sparse. Other than that my stay was great.

I experienced a massive cockroach infestation in my room, I was planning to stay 5 nights but left after 3. The last night I was unable to sleep because there were cockroaches of all sizes everywhere in the room and on my suitcase as I was trying to leave. They need some serious attention to the issue. The front desk staff was unhelpful when I checked out in the middle of the night. Avoid this hotel unless they get some serious bug control. Extremely disappointing stay in what should have been a nice trip to the DFW area. One positive is the patio area is nice and lush with greenery. The rest is to be marked and avoided.

The parking felt safe. Although I did not use the laundry service, but there is washer and dryer in every room, which was super convenient.
