Not worth the effort

We had difficulty finding the property so we called their phone number and dpoje wiyh a call center agent. He could not give us directions to our room. After 30 minutes we found the property, checked in and arrived to a dirty room. There was a housekeeper Just starting to clean it. We went back to the front desk and were told to wait 2 hours and they would text us when the room was ready. We asked for a different room maybe a clean one? We were told NO! Because we bookedvit through a third party and not them. They Never texted us so after 2 hours of dinner and gaming, we check the front desk, we were given room keys and they attempted to charge us for the room again. The room was clean and quiet.

The manager wouldn’t let us use our Expedia reservations. Then booked is in the horseshoe across the street. Lost my money with Expedia. May as well went to Mexico.

The front desk was great very friendly,room clean and comfortable the restaurant was clean, nice with great service for dinner, morning breakfast was a major dissapointment service Sucked with a major i dont give a s___ attitude not a pleasant way to start a day on the road!

Inconvenient hotel

I really dont like needing to check in across the street from the hotel. This place is really old and smells like my grandmas house. You can hear the people/pets next door. No security at exit door. I had to go down concrete stairs to get to where my room was. Cactus petes should allow pets on their property instead of sending people across the street to something sketchy.

We had a great time and the rooms were clean and quiet! I wasn’t expecting it to be so quiet inside a casino. We were pulling a car trailer behind a 26ft U-Haul and had plenty of parking and lighted parking lot. I can’t wait to go back!

It was easy to get in and out of the property. What we didn't like was you only have one restaurant open during the week and your slots are really tight. You need to do something about those shower heads and a grab rail would be nice also.

They charge a $15 "resort fee" for two tiny nonresuable waterbottles, instant coffee and a coupon book, even if you don't use any of them. This fee is not included on Expedia and is mandatory. You have to walk through the smoking area to get to nonsmoking rooms and restaurants and nonsmoking casino area. Restaurants were closed except one. Limited menu and waitress seemed irritated and didn't show back up after dropping off waters. We left before even placing our orders. Window in room was covered in bird poo. Sheets and room clean, view was good. Lots of hot water.

Would definitely stay here again

i have stayed here many times and the service is always friendly and helpful. i gave 3 stars on the condition only because they were having issues with the elevators so we had to use the stairs and service elevator. but as soon as they were aware they got it fixed. great hotel, clean and comfortable rooms.

We enjoyed our stay at Cactus Pete’s. It’s a nice property with great amenities. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The front desk staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.
