Beautiful and convenient location

easy to get to from Kyoto train station and near bus stops. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast buffet was great and totally worth it. Onsen was great to wind down after a busy day of walking and sweating. Love that you leave your shoes in lockers next to the lobby and walk around in socks. They also provide clothes you can sleep or walk around the facility in and they have all unlimited matcha tea lattes and are delicious! Highly recommend.

This hotel was fantastic! Very nice and clean with a great view of the Aji River. It's conveniently located near the train station, so getting around in the city was very easy. Best part was able to walk to Universal Studios and many options for dining and shopping. Can't wait to come back!

The hotel is brand new, the area is great. Walkable to Dotonbori, Namba station, Nipponbashi Denden Town. I believe I selected the Standard Room 1bed for 1person Non-smoking, however my receipt isn't telling me which I selected so I am not certain. Hotel room was on the small side with a separate toilet room, but the main restroom, sink area had a small tub. The room came with coffee maker, refrigerator, tv, yukata, toiletry bag, towels etc. The bed took up almost the entire room, and storage for luggage is under the bed. There was a bed and small counter shaped table but it was fine for a solo traveler. I would have not been able to share the room with another person for sure. There was a single window by the bed which is facing the walkway so it is very visible into the room if you leave the lights on and curtains open. The convenience store was perfect, laundry room was busy but doesn't need laundry soap (which I didn't know and tried to purchase from the 711 which didn't sell it). The gender divided onsen was great, loved the open air the most. The bar was overpriced but cute for the IG (aka aesthetic), food and drinks were yummy, not worth the price. Last, my only complaint was the check-in process. I came early to see if I could check-in early, they said no, which was TOTALLY fine and the lady was like "please feel free to drop off your luggage with luggage storage" but when I went to them they told me to wait in line for 30+ minutes to check-in. Wasted time there.

Amazing staff, breakfast restaurant with wide options of food, cleanliness of building and room, and location to Universal Studios.

Great budget hotel near the JR station. Checked in and out using the kiosks. Rooms are small, but easily accommodated 3. There's a connected 7-11. There was an unexpected city tax (200 yen a night I think?), but maybe it was stated and I don't see it. Overall a good choice if you're on a budget and will be spending a lot of time outside.
