Book Oaks Kingsville accommodation from NZ$119

The room is old and smells like old wet furniture. I must I still did not mind as we were out most of the times and staff at reception were really good and helpful. However, on our last day, we spotted a rat coming out near the fridge in the midnight, this was spotted by my partner and she was extremely scared and disgusted, as we had our clothes placed in the cabinet near the fridge. We did not go to report immediately as it was too late and we were very tired and were checking out at 11 in the morning. I have reported this to the reception while checking out, he was kind enough to acknowledge my concern and even provide a carpark waiver, however, I feel this incident has made us feel so disgusted and it shouldn’t happen on a holiday.

Bed was a hard nights sleep. Ask for firm pillows. Apart from that it was lovely. Room was lovely. Quiet.

The breakfast was delicious and large. The Japanese curry that was served from the kitchen at night was also lovely and excellent value

I love staying here you can get anywhere in the city from this spot. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Nice hotel. Getting a little dated, can be a bit of a maze. Staff are really good and the area is hard to beat (despite the hills).

Always pleasant. Classic, not dated.
