The property is an easy walk to the lake. They offer $5 vouchers to enter the beach. It’s about $25 otherwise. It’s walking distance also to the main road and other restaurants. Our room was looking out towards a fenced in garden. It could have been beautiful but there were no chairs or tables. There was even a gazebo but nowhere to sit. It was really too bad. We did not have a balcony but you can reserve a room with balcony. The property is on two sides of a road and you cannot always park on the same side as your room. It was a very busy hotel. They were full all week. I booked the room 5 months before and it was a good value. I would return.

It is in a wonderful area but needs a facelift. Some paint and carpet would be great. The beds are really comfortable and you have a wonderful breakfast. Staff was excellent.

Never Again

Rooms are not what the pictures show. No chair, no couch, no closet, no dresser. Just a room a bed and a desk. Breakfast was the standard scramble eggs sausage and potatoes all with no flavor. Waffles if you wanted to stand in line to make them. White bread and bagels for toast. The serving area is small. Parking is a joke. Get there early and don’t leave. Also very small spaces so a lot of people taking tow spots.

We got a dirty room. When it was time to lay down one of the beds smelled really bad once we pull the blankets we come to find a big nasty stain on the bed sheets and on the mattress which cause the bed and bed covers to smell really bad!

I would stay again

My mom, sister and myself really enjoyed our stay here. You can get a coupon to go to the beach club down the street which is really nice and also watch the sunset. With the coupon it was only five dollars each and during the day you can go swimming and enjoy the beach. The breakfast had coffee and juice and I made waffles. The eggs and sausage and potatoes. My sister said we’re just OK but hey, it was free. I would definitely stay here again. The beds were very comfortable.

Another positive stay in Tahoe

It was a great stay. For an affordable hotel, it was decently comfy. By that, I mean the room was clean. It looked like parts of it was still being renovated or something, but it got the job done. No bugs, no stains, no drama. The beds are a bit firmer then I would have liked, I guess, but that's a growing trend with many of the hotels out there now. Their continental breakfast includes all of the typical items, including waffle makers and a mini pancake machine. Like many places in Tahoe, parking is a little tight, so try to keep that in mind when it comes to what vehicle you're driving. Too many large trucks in that parking lot can be cumbersome for others. Service was absolutely awesome. Roger and the rest of the staff behind the counter we're terrific to talk to from start to finish. They're incredibly friendly and incredibly helpful. I would absolutely go back here again in the future.

Great experience! Location is excellent and within walking distance to all the shops, restaurants, and the beach. Breakfast was crowded but good. To top it off the value was good. Would return 100%.
