Overall we loved our birthday weekend stay. The only reason not giving it a 5 star rating was the average cleanliness of the place. The floor was pretty messy and when we checked in the basic things like soap and shampoo bottles were empty. They did promptly fill them up when we requested for it, but only feedback is if they could have done the due dilligence of making the room "ready" when we checked in, it would have been perfect.

Beautiful but could be better

The hotel is beautiful. I was on the second floor and we had to go to the 3rd floor to get ice. The rooms are centered around the main lobby and the curtains in the living room area do not block out the lobby lights enough during the night. There is NO parking and the hotel charges $40 a day to valet park. Overall it was a very nice hotel and it is pet friendly which I appreciate.

This hotel has a really friendly vibe. At check-in, we lucked out with the best front desk host — she was warm, welcoming, and gave us such great recommendations for things to do around town. Honestly, she set the tone for the trip. The next day, though, she wasn’t there when we went to book a boat tour, and instead of the classic MS Dixie, we got sent to a small, random boat in the marina. Definitely wish I had waited for her guidance! The valet team deserves a shoutout — the drivers were amazing: friendly, attentive, and always going the extra mile. On the flip side, the woman managing the valet clearly didn’t want to be there, which made the process a little more stressful than it should have been. Our room was inviting and comfortable, with plenty of towels and water bottles stocked up — perfect for a short two-day stay. It was clean overall, but the baseboards and vents could use a little extra love since they were dusty. Breakfast was pretty “meh” — nothing terrible, but not memorable either. I’d recommend exploring some of the local spots instead. All in all, a mix of highlights and misses, but with the right staff (and maybe a better breakfast), this place really shines.

Front desk was ok. You can tell they were going through the motions. The breakfast buffet staff told us we can sit anywhere. We decided to grab our food first and when we were going to sit down they told us we couldn't sit there and it's reserved... I was confused so I talk to the staff
