I love this place. As an older woman traveling alone, I feel safe and secure here. Between the coffee shop and the brewery/restaurant, and live music and hot tubs, you never have to leave, but if you want to, it's located very close to the casinos, gondola and lake. It is an old property that they have poured loving care into, but there are things about the footprint of the hotel that can't be changed - the bathrooms are tiny, and the plumbing and heating/air conditioning are not perfect. But I don't shop for hotels in this area anymore. I'll be back!

It was a good stay. The standard room is a little bit on the smaller side (especially the bathroom) but it was enough. Parking can get a little tight as other guests noted, but I was able to find parking. The room was quiet. Staff was overall friendly. Wi-Fi was acceptable. Suggestion: it would be nice if the common area had a microwave to use:-)

The pictures fooled me. The property is decent but wouldn’t recommend. Our tv didn’t work and they asked us if we wanted to change room but the showers would not work. Two complete different things if you ask me.

It was our first time staying in the more tourist area of South Lake Tahoe and was very happy with the location of the property. It was easy to walk to restaurants, shops and the lake. Would absolutely recommend.

Ideal location for the Stateline, Heavenly area. Lots of restaurants and shopping. Quick walk to the Heavenly gondola. Nicely remodeled older motel. Could use a little more maintenance. Some things are showing their age a bit. Loved the hot tubs and the fire pit areas.

Had a great stay. Chill vibes. Walking distance to casinos and Heavenly village. Nice little restaurant/pub. Kids loved making s'mores at the outside fire pits. Downsides were that most vehicles were not parked within the lines in the covered parking area which prevented almost every other stall from being used. Outside parking lot was a little icy and you had to be extra careful when walking. There’s stairs to get to all the rooms. So, not recommended if traveling with elderly or people with mobility issues. Also, we were on the top floor but could hear people walking back and forth in their boots in the rooms next to us. I’m assuming it’s louder if you’re staying in the room below. Other than that, the place was perfect for a young couple or small family

Love the location of this hotel. It’s super close to all the casinos/restaurants but it’s also away enough to be a mellow spot. Our room was spacious and clean. Felt safe while on property. Our room had a small balcony.. love it but it was too cold to be outside. Parking is limited but we found a spot. Love the beer garden/common areas this place offers. Overall— it was a good stay and I’d come back.

Comfy, quirky, fun!

I love how warm the rooms are, and they are comfortable for a weekend of skiing. I love the beds but the pillows could use some help. Having the beer pub in the hotel is also great and drinking cider while making s'mores outdoors has been a good end of ski day The coffee shop in the lobby is also a good deal for getting some caffeine before hitting the slopes. A bit of a walk to the Gondola but rent a locker and all is well!
