My husband and I stayed in the Sunset Tower. The room was beautiful, big TV. The air conditioning didnt seem to work but since the outside temperature wasnt too hot, the room stayed about 77/78 degrees which was okay for me but too warm for my husband, we kept the fan on and it helped with the temperature a little. Also, you have to call and request house keeping if you want your room cleaned. The room was about a 10 minute walk to reception desk.Overall we liked oir stay here. We had a nice time,

Not a good deal that we are used to from Hotel.com

It looked like our room light switch had not been cleaned in Two years. The facility was under construction. The price that we paid was way over what we should have paid.

The details of the room indicated that the hotel was remodeled. And with that being said there are 2 places the main hotel and the new hotel. The “tower” location is remodeled and the main building is completely old with cracks cracks in bathroom floor holes in blankets mold build up in the shower chair in the bathroom. Fun at the Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe

We had a great time at the Golden Nugget. Very easy to get around, elevator, elevators, ran fast, casino, and restaurants very close and walking distance. Lots of fun.

They were mid construction which wouldn't typically be a problem but we were put into a room without hot water and the a/c only worked on high. They switched our rooms which was great but it was still not great.

Carpet is ditty doent look as if ever cleaned. NO HEAT. Thermostat hung on wall with a screw and a poster indicating no heat but to open a window when sunny for heat. Bed was so jelly like and to tall have to jump on it to get in. This was terrible for older person or disabled person. Loud boom all night under floor of bed. Was told its the ice machine. tumbler. All room lights so low wattage cant see well. No maid service came on folling day.the restuant fir breakfast inside hotell the seabass sonething was so terrible it would take me a page to write about it. The lobby stunk of smoke the first day then better the next. I couldnt gamble at all because it stunk so bad in the casino. No non smoking section here. I will never stay here again ever. Watesd my money so expensive for this type hotel

Entire hotel is under construction and staff was very unhelpful and very understaffed. No notice was provided that everything was under construction. No bellhop on duty and up charging for everything. Wil not stay here again

We’ve stayed here many times and know it’s just an okay casino hotel, but this was exceptionally bad. Room was dirty (used Q-tips on the floor) and bathroom was tiny and the toilet seat broken. For the same price I’d stay at Bally’s or Cesars.
