Hotel perfect yes we had a sea view magic

Excellent.

Great hotel in the heart of Windermere, short walk to lake where boats go on the trips and close to shops. Slight hill getting back up to hotel. Lovely cocktail bar, pub and eating areas. Breakfast was fab. Hot tub was worth it after a day walking it was so nice to relax in. Spotlessly clean and as the old saying goes ‘you get what you pay for’; worth every penny.

The staff were all very efficient and friendly. The quality of food was excellent along with the service and very reasonably priced. The facilities were well maintained and the room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed. Very quiet and peaceful with great views of lake Windermere. We will certainly be back.

Highly recommend this hotel lovely friendly staff on-site car park has chargers for electric vehicle vehicles. Fantastic spa and swimming pool food was superb in the two restaurants. It’s right at the south of Lake Windermere so literally you can walk over to the ferry to do a ferry cruise to Ambleside or Bowness on Windermere Winder - it also has an aquarium and a steam train during the summer month. We didn’t bring our dog, but it is a dog friendly Hotel you really enjoyed our stay and already planning on bringing the dog for another trip
