Claire at the reception desk was personable, professional and a great ambassador for this hotel. Bravo! The room was a good size, everything was steps away, the restaurant was lovely.

Lovely little hotel, within easy walking distance of everything; express bus to airport stops just across the street. Staff are friendly, helpful and considerate - the bartender even made me a hot toddy for my laryngitis!

It was a great experience to come to this hotel. I really enjoyed it and loved the location and that I could get to wherever I wanted. There were so many different restaurants and cafes that were very close and I loved the scenery and the castle. The room was excellent but I had a small problem with water leaking from the shower.

Revisited 13 months on. An Ideal base to explore Edinburgh. Tram stop 200 yards from hotel. Car park at hotel reasonably priced at £10.00 per day. Breakfast self service and adequate choice of food. Rooms clean and comfortable.
