The staff met my expectations; however, the accommodations did not. For numerous reasons, the hotel did not provide the quality or experience I expected for the price paid.
First, there was a strong and unpleasant odor throughout the property, which made the stay uncomfortable from the start. Secondly, while the hotel name does not indicate it is an extended-stay property, it felt very much like one. Many guests appeared to be long-term residents and treated the hotel as such, which negatively impacted the overall atmosphere and experience.
For an expensive hotel room, I expected a cleaner, more comfortable, and higher-quality environment. Unfortunately, this was not the case, and I was very disappointed with the stay.
Given these issues, I feel a refund or partial reimbursement would be appropriate.
