The hotel was no frills, a fan was provided in the room which was needed given the warm weather currently. Room was clean and tidy. Self adhesive hook on back of bathroom door kept falling off… those things never stay attached. Didn’t go down for breakfast and there was an aroma of cigarette smoke around the building, not sure if someone has/had been smoking in room previously.

We are given room outside hotel in a building where there was no service, no phone working, we have to cross the road to go for any problem or help or breakfast, hallway full of smell as well too much smoke of weed and other stuff in the building? People smoking and drunk sitting on stairways no monitoring, feel like haunted place also very warm

A little tired but clean. WiFi didn't work and the desk didn't seem surprised. No aircon and the fan in the room was very noisy and couldn't be kept on if you wanted to either watch tv or sleep. No gluten free options at all.

You get what you pay for

The hotel was very convenient for Paddington station which was what we needed. Got a very cheap deal and whilst the room, sheets and bathroom were clean and the neighbourhood quiet, the hotel is very tired. The room was extremely hot making it difficult to sleep (despite it not being hot weather, only using a sheet and having the fan on), plus we were in the basement and the carpet on the stairs down there was truly filthy. I probably would pay a bit more next time for a better hotel, but if money is tight and you don't mind the heat, the room itself was clean and bed ok.

PADDINGTON GEM

We stayed two nights. The location is perfect. This is an older hotel but it met out needs and budget perfectly. The breakfast was adequate and gave us a good start to our day. We were concerned about some of the negative reviews but it was good. Beds were comfortable and shower had hot water. Everything was clean. We will stay again on our next visit to London.
