The location near Paddington Station and restaurants was great. The room was very warm and the window would not stay open. The shower had a leak and sprayed everywhere. Disappointing.

We stayed at the Athena due to its proximity to Paddington Station for the Heathrow Express. We found it very walkable to many places including, Hyde Park, Soho, Notting Hill, Museums and Harrods. It was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. We had a couple of small issues in our room and the staff fixed them right away. Would recommend this hotel.

Hotels near to Paddington making it a good location. Room was however very basic and not comfortable. The price as what you’d expect to pay in London but next time we will look to pay more for better accommodation.

Flies in the room from open window. No screen to keep them out. Very small room. Flat pillows. Was there for only one night so can't say much about room service. Didn't seem to have air conditioning. Payed a lot for very little luxury.

Very convenient location

Very convenient location 5 minutes walk from Paddington Station; No shops in the immediate vicinity, hence quiet at night. Walk down to Essex Gardens a few minutes away, and there are plenty of shops, restaurants.

Great little hotel near Paddington station! Affordable room for a family of five. Room is cozy and clean. Nice place to rest, but not meant to really spend lots of down time in. No frills room - no fridge or recliners. 5 minute walk to Paddington station. Lots of eating options nearby. Staff are very pleasant and friendly. Continental breakfast hits the spot, servers bring toast to your table or hot porridge along with small buffet of other selections, including raisin rolls, croissants, yogurt, cereal, dried fruits, sliced cheese, cold ham and salami. Drinks include apple and orange juice, coffee and hot water for tea. Would stay again if going with family to London.
