Very good

We were not able to make our flight to England from Canada, due to a UK ETA mix up. I asked to cancel our reservation. I understand them not cancelling the first night. But they refused the other as well.It was bad enough we missed our Grandmothers 100th Birthday and the trouble with the airline. Some grace would have been nice.

Disliked: Amenities
The neighborhood is nice, there is restaurants within vicinity as well as transportation on the tube. The hotel is old so it’s very loud. Walking will wake up other sleepers in your room, you can hear people next door and up stairs walking around and talking quietly which made sleeping hard. The beds are really uncomfortable so that’s something they need to upgrade. Rooms could use a detailing.. they were clean but far from detailed. For the price it was a good value compared to other hotel options. The restaraunt onsite we did not eat at, it is Nepali and Indian so cannot comment. There is an espresso maker in the room and lobby which was nice. The bathroom is difficult to get ready in with a really recessed mirror. Biggest perks: location. Biggest downside: loud and awful beds, linens very rough they need an upgrade.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Nice rooms. Balcony was amazing. Small glitch with expired battery in room that beeped but staff corrected that as soon as we let them know.
Lovely hotel, very clean, staff helpful and polite, walking distance through the park to harrods, London Victoria, Notting Hill and on the central line for tube so easy to get to other areas of London.
Lovely little hotel. Close to underground and several fabulous pubs. 5 mins from Kensington Park which is beautiful. Will definitely stay again next time we are in London
The room was great, newly renovated. Spacious, clean and the bed was so comfortable. The bathroom was huge and the shower was massive. All brand new. Will definately stay here again.
It is very loud with the heavy hotel room doors slamming shut at all hours. The shower didn't work properly. Very difficult to get hot water, which would turn ice cold mid shower
A well located hotel for a reasonable cost. The room was a slightly awkward shape, small but not well soundproofed. The mattress felt a bit worn.
Staff were helpful, friendly and breakfast was good.
hotel was very clean, located close to a tub station in a very clean and safe neighborhood. the room was a bit on the small side so if you stay for a full week you can get on each other's toes and run out of space for suitcases and closes but it was very manageable.
I would return without hesitation
