No lock on bedroom door, was promised it would be fixed but it wasn't. Bed base was completely broken with dirty washing supporting the mattress.... my back was so sore. I asked for the bed to be fixed or another room but the request was denied. I dont expect perfection but a working bed and door lock i do expect.

The worst rooms in a hotel with no ventilation. Bathroom/Toilet doors cannot be locked from inside!!! Terrible cleaning. No cupboards to keep clothes!!! No lift which was fine but do recommend to have one. Overall terrible place to stay. Not recommended. Example of hole in bathroom door is submitted.

Corbigoe

Room door did not lock, key had been snapped in lock and lock removed (I was shown remains of key (stub)). I was in a hurry to make an appointment so no chance to insist on a different room (they did not seem keen to give me one) so had to leave belongings in room while I went out for the evening with room unlocked. Television didn't work - probably explains why no remote. Room very small. Bathroom very cramped, could not sit down on toilet, had to sit on toilet seat at an angle. No wifi. But there was tea/coffee making equipment and the shower worked well. Bed sheets/pillow clean.

We reserved 2 rooms for one night, and was appropriate for the rate. Safe neighborhood, rooms were clean, no bugs. I would recommend to stay on a lower floor as no A/C, no screens on the windows, no elevator. We stayed on the 4th floor and was super hot so had to leave the windows open (mosquitos and birds). Water pressure in pipes was very loud on 4th floor, not on the 3rd floor where our second room was. Staff was very friendly. I would be ok to stay again, for one night only not longer.

Ended up booking into another hotel as the place was incredibly run down with a lock that I couldn’t trust as it took several attempts from the receptionist to manage to get it to lock on exiting the room (the barrel was rotating in the lock). The state of the room was also very run down.

Dirty hotel, flies in the room ever night, no AC, no WiFi ( didn’t work past the second floor, we were on the 4th), no elevator, no door handle on the bathroom door, it was ripped off and never fixed. Tv didn’t work. Generally disgusting hotel. Spoke to the front desk who said they’d tell their boss. Nothing ever was addressed. Would not stay here.

We are surprised that Expedia listed this property on their website. The hotel's rooms are not safe—the walls near the bed and the radiator are full of mold, which can be harmful to breathe. The beds are very uncomfortable, the rooms are too small, and there is no air conditioning, no Wi-Fi, and no customer service. The bathrooms are in poor condition; water remains in the washbasin and standing shower. The washbasin is extremely small, measuring only 8 by 6 inches, like a child's toy. We have pictures to share as evidence. There is no space in the room or bathroom to store personal belongings. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone, even if they offered a free stay." If you want to make friends with bed bugs then…

Where to begin? I knew this was going to be a terrible hotel as soon as I entered the building to a really funky smell and a somewhat unfriendly bloke on reception. We were put in a room below street level, the window was wide open (obviously trying to diffuse the horrible smell), no bars on window and the street right there so I had to kinda jam the window shut as there was no latch to shut it properly. One small towel between four people and the shower was in bits. A high step to tiny bathroom with a very low door frame. Beds were lumpy and mine was kinda tilted so I felt like I was going to roll off it. Stains all over the walls and no storage whatsoever, a few hooks above one bed. No tables to put stuff on either, we had to put everything on questionable floors. Be aware the kettle is a hazard, I was making drinks for me and mum and the kettle wouldn’t switch off, I had to turn it off at the mains, then the handle was scalding hot and I burnt myself on the steam. You have to pay extra for internet. Our tv wouldn’t show any channels at all and just lots of technical jargon, even with the internet it wouldn’t work, absolutely useless feature of the room. I would never recommend ‘The Corbigoe Hotel’ to anyone unless it was someone I really despised. I felt dirty when I left and couldn’t wait to shower in our current hotel. I had to pay £114 for the pleasure of this revolting, gross place with its rude staff, also I didn’t see one cleaner, I think that say’s it all.

This.... Was not great. The cost was great for the area but really not worth it. The room had the following issues. Bed, the sheet didn't really fit so when I moved during the night, the sheet pulled up and I ended up sleeping on the mattress. Directly on the mattress. No hygiene mattress protector or anything. Given that the duvet cover was stained, the sheets and pillow cases were also stained WITH OLD BLOOD DROPS, this left me feeling a bit grotty. Single towel, small in size. Cheap toilet paper (like cheapest single ply possible). Cant get into the shower without being in the bedroom itself as the door opens into the tiny bathroom and there was NO space. The shower itself, the drain was so slow that even after a few minutes, the shower tray was full. I thought it would flood over. There was no bathmat so the floor in the bathroom itself ended up swimming. The bathroom was so small I practically had to sit sideways on the toilet as it was right up against the wall. The walls are so thin that I could hear the room next door all night. Honestly, this is one, if not the worst, place I have ever stayed, anywhere, ever.
