There was no lift and our room was on the third floor- 6 flights of stairs!
The room radiator was not working and there was no heat in the bathroom so it was quite a chilly stay.
A lovely little place close to Euston & Kings Cross train stations, Russell Sq Underground on your doorstep and nearby buses to Oxford St. Spotlessly clean, well made beds, warm cosy room with tv, desk, hair dryer and tea making facilities. Lovely to have breakfast included looking out over tennis courts. Pillows a bit flat but they gave me an extra one straight away. The staff are great, friendly, hard working and very accommodating. I loved staying here. Looking forward to staying again.
Out of all the low cost hotels in London this one is a safe bet. Particularly if you’re on a budget and business. Despite being close to Kings Cross and Euston it is a quiet and safe area.
Rooms are basic but clean, plenty of tea and coffee supplies and amazing you even get breakfast. I had a full English and you know what it was good. Single room with own toilet and shower and breakfast in central London for under £100 not bad.
The location was perfect for me -- in fact it was the same street (not same hotel) where I stayed in 2012. It's a lovely, well-kept B&B. Breakfast was wonderful -- and all the staff delightful. I'm giving the hotel a high rating because it deserves it. My accommodations were not delightful -- the room was the size of a walk-in closet and it had no bathroom. To be fair, that was my fault, having inadvertently booked a room with "separate bath." Both the toilet and shower were private, but as a woman in my 70s, having to walk down the hall to shower or go to the toilet (including middle of the night) was not fun. Add to that the fact that I had to use a (wonky) key to unlock them every time. Thankfully I stayed here only 2 nights. By the 2nd night, realizing that no one else on the floor needed my toilet and shower, I left them unlocked overnight. Long story short, I would return to the Euro if I wanted to be in the Bloomsbury neighborhood with a student vibe and a wonderful assortment of restaurants and pubs. But I'd be good and sure to book a room with an ensuite bathroom!
This truly is the best hotel I've stayed in on my many visits to London. The breakfast has a good choice of full English, cooked to order, and continental, the little pastries are delicious. The staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble and they are so polite
I had a separate toilet and shower which, in itself, wasn't a problem. The slightest inconvenience was nowhere to wash hands after using the toilet until getting back to the room. Once I realised I used a wet wipe until I could wash my hands.
We were surprised by the friendliness of staff and the amazing breakfast.

Independent hotels in London are generally in very old buildings and this is no exception.
Positives:
- Good location in upscale neighbourhood close to many tube and train stations, and little parks
- Very clean building and rooms
- My husband, a native Londoner, loved the building and location
- served (not buffet) full English breakfast is good
Negatives
- our Quad room was advertised as 4 beds but only had 2 single beds and one small double. It was in the basement
- got an additional room on top floor which was very nice, but the 3rd flood had a strong musty odour
Bottom line: We will probably stay there again, or at least in that area.

The single room I booked by mistake had a shower and a toileta outside the room (8 m away).
I realised the mistake 10 min after hte booking but the hotel refused to cancel the reservation.
It should be noted that the headline of the single room dis not clearly show the fact that these facilities are remote from the room
