a nice building across a beautiful garden to look at
This was my second stay at Garden View Hotel.
The price is extremely good value. Check in was friendly and efficient.
Well located and close to Earls Court underground station.
The bed is comfortable and the area is very quiet.
Bathroom is tiny and a little dated but perfectly adequate.
My only negative is that there are only two electric sockets and they are not near the bed.
As long as you don’t expect a 5 star hotel then you won’t be dissatisfied. For a simple overnight stay you can’t go wrong.
A triple room was provided for one person, and the room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. However, there was no heater, so the room was cold even in winter. It was nice that there was an electric kettle so we could drink something hot.
Short walk from Earl's Court tube station and really does have a view of the private gardens opposite which are very well maintained. Rooms had everything required and staff good.
Hotel was on a quiet side road but easy walking distance to tubes, restaurants and fast food shops and a big supermarket. Our room was lower ground floor so got little natural light. It was not double glazed, but the heating compensated for that.
Photos do not show the real condition of the hotel. Aged, poor quality furniture, super small bathroom, flushing toilet was a challenge, price and 7.6 rating should have given me an indication of my wrong choosing but the people giving 10/10 deceived me
One of my best stays in London. Room was warm, bed was warm. Staff were lovely

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Hotel was good! Beds weren’t the most comfortable but the place was clean and was fine for two nights. right near a station so easy to travel around, check in/out were super simple.
Chose this stay for it's location but this was the only thing we actually enjoyed. The room itself was much smaller than what the images showed and the bathroom was very small with not enough space to open the door. The TV we had was very small and did not turn on manually or with the remote. In addition, the bed runner was dirty with stains on both sides. Overall, we did not enjoy this stay and expected more from the hotel as this was not as advertised online. I would not recommend and will not be booking again.

I have stayed twice before and both times were pretty good. This time not so much, booked a double room for me and husband, we were given a box, with no space, 3/4 size bed barely wider than single with terrible mattress. The TV was hanging on the side wall opposite the bed which you bumped into trying to get to the table and drawers.
You could not get into the wardrobe without moving the table - which for a double room had 1 chair with it. It will make me rethink booking again.
Close to Earls Court tube station and reasonably priced.
The lift is extremely small, one suit case and one person only. Hardly had any interaction with reception and unable to contact on one occasion on the weekend. The internet was terrible and only had connection half the time. During the weekend no house cleaning and no toilet paper.
Apart from the location I will not return should I visit London again.
