The location was prime and beautiful! So close to many shops and the train station. The hotel itself could use some work- only one staff member (as we checked out and left) was friendly towards us and willing to help since it was our first time in England. The room was not as pictured and was a bit muggy, no warning that construction was happening right outside our door and window, no shampoo available. I may not stay again but I know that if I tried again I know what to expect.

Nice hotel, but very little shower water pressure

Went with a friend and it was nice. It felt safe for two female travelers to stay in. The area around the hotel is soo cute. My main complaint was that the water pressure in the shower was nonexistent. The stair case can be tough to get luggage up and down, but to be expected with some European hotels.

Great hotel in a good location

This was my 2nd/3rd visit and I stayed in one of the smaller single rooms which is more than adequate for a 1-2 nights. Unfortunately the roller blind was an issue which I believe had already been noted for mending. Also the only 2 sockets were both broken (again noted) so had only one plug socket to use Otherwise the room was extremely clean and given the central location, very quiet. Close to Kings Cross/Euston All the staff with whom I spoke were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again

Comfortable & Clean No Lift

Lovely few days.Staff were super and very understanding as I needed a ground floor room on this occasion after speaking to a lovely lady a week beforehand she was able to accommodate us.The hotel is kept very clean & bed very comfortable.This is a good B&B if you need to be in that area.No frills but very comfortable.

It was an inferior experience, at least to say. We've been asked to provide credit card details and a copy of the ID to be taken. The payment was already made through Expedia, the request to hold the bank and personal details was unreasonable, and we declined to provide it. The room was not thoroughly clean, and the bedding was stained. We decided not to stay, but to our surprise, the receptionist refused to check us out and process a refund. The owner was more concerned about where we were originally from than resolving the problem. Racist and inappropriate insults were made towards me and my son, and we left without a refund. Avoid at any cost!

Excellent value for money. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Comfortable and clean room. Good breakfast. Perfect for our theatre break. Close to tube links. All in all very positive and we would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel- convenient location

We arrived on 20/03/25, the gentleman on reception was so welcoming and friendly. We had booked a twin room but were given a large quadruple room which was clean,and very comfortable. We had to leave early (5.30am) to catch the Eurostar train which was a 10 minute walk away. Will definitely book this hotel again.

We had an amazing stay. The only reason why I did not give 5 stars for staff and service was due to the lady who checked us in. She was rude, unwelcoming, and really set a negative tone for the stay. However. The second morning when we went to pay for breakfast, we were greeted by the sweetest most kind lady ever. She was extremely welcoming and she completely flipped our perception of the service around. It was disappointing to have such a negative first interaction with the lady at the front desk, but we were pleased that for the rest of our stay we did not see her again and everyone else was so welcoming.

Great little hotel in a fantastic location! 2 tube stations within minutes walk. Lots of great restaurants. The ladies at the front desk were wonderful. Room and bathroom were clean and looked like they were recently renovated. They were teeny tiny but were only there to sleep and were fine with the close quarters! One thing to note is there is no elevator so beware if you're on the top floor with bad knees it can be a bit of a hike! Also there is no air conditioning. It wasn't an issue for us as it was the beginning of March but it maybe an issue in the summer Overall I would stay here again...but request a lower floor!!
