This is a very nice property with an excellent location and staff, but it is being renovated and there is scaffolding all around the hotel , so you can’t open the blinds for privacy reasons and it gets very noisy after 8:00 AM and we were never warned about this, so we felt that even though this is a very nice hotel, we definitely would have stayed somewhere else if we had been told it was being renovated. My advise to others is to wait until after the renovation is completed before visiting this nice hotel.

Clean room, tidy communal facilities and lovely pool. Air conditioning in room did not work - when reported to reception implication was that this should have been reported earlier and was our fault. May have been related to ongoing building work (not mentioned on website or at the time of booking) Bathroom light wouldn’t turn on without turning main room light on - not ideal. Good food, but expensive Overall, okay stay but lacking in service and polish expected from this establishment

The hotel location is great. Walkable to Borough Market and Tower Bridge. The room that we got even as HH member was not the best with views of construction site. We needed room to be cleaned one day and housekeeping did not show up. Once we contacted the hotel staff noone knew why. The doorman and some staff were friendly.

This is a very classy and comfortable hotel on the South side of Thames, right by Tate Modern. It is a great location to explore a less touristy, but nonetheless wonderful, part of town. Our room was very spacious and had all the luxurious amenities.

Great location and service

Very modern, clean and comfortable hotel. Convenient location to a number of attractions such as the Tate Modern, Borough Market, and Millennium Bridge. A short walk across the Thames to St Paul's, etc. Easy access to train stations and bus stops. Service was very helpful and friendly.
