Had a basement room the size of a police cell with a drafty window and patchy heating. Breakfast was supposed to be full English but apparently that’s no longer available so just had cereal. Asked reception for some help and they didn’t seem to understand. Lots of noise of people walking past from outside the basement window. It wasn’t terrible but I wouldn’t stay again.

I was in London for academic purposes . The room allotted to us was spacious and clean . The breakfast was a standard English breakfast. But coming to comfort , couldn’t get even a minute of sleep as floor boards were extremely creaky — any movement above or on the same floor felt like the entire roof was going to fall on us and noise of someone flushing their toilets right above or taking a shower kept us awake throughout the night . So sadly the room dint serve its purpose.

Would stay in the Judd again. I have recommended here or at least this area to friends and family about to travel to London. Close to 3 different tube stations and train station. Safe area to come back to late at night. Thank you for hosting us! Good local pubs.

Staff were a little short, and generally lacked some manners. Rooms are small, bathroom is even smaller (there’s more space in a phone box!) windows are wafer thin, so any noise outside will be loud and clear inside. A lot of light from the corridors and from outside gets into the room, so it’s not the darkest/quietist room. Breakfast included is a nice extra. Offers a cooked buffet style breakfast, but options are limited (sausage, bacon, overcooked fried eggs, beans and tomato). Pastry options were singular tiny croissants, and the choice of fruits was just an apple. Website oversells the breakfast offerings. Fine hotel for single night stays, where all you need is a room. Just make sure you’re comfortable with the person you’re sharing with!

Reasonable hotel for one night

All ok except we were put on the 3rd floor and there is NO lift and the stairs wind round to the third floor. Not good carrying cases

Great for a quick solo weekend.

I stayed for two nights on different days as hotel is very close to Kings Cross but in a nice setting with some good pubs and safe for wandering alone at night. Room a bit old style but very comfortable - located in a separate building across the road but price was good and breakfast included. Breakfast staff were a bit enthusiastic though as hovered, waiting to whisk your plates away - toast was terrible like rubber and they didn’t take too kindly if you asked for it to be retoasted. Food was ok, standard English grub but probably not so good if you have intolerances etc

The location was perfect and I could walk to the places I needed to go to. It is close to two tube stations and near shops. The front desk staff are very good as are those who serve breakfast.
