This was my third stay at the hotel but unfortunately the first time in the older part of the hotel. It was fine but the bathroom was far more dated. When you've had a great previous experience, this was a disappointment!

Check in was a nightmare. The lady at the desk had to run my card three times (I think I might have been overcharged) and she kept on asking me if I had had a long day while waiting 20+ minutes to get checked in. We were then placed in a room right next to an elevator that you heard running 24 hours a day. The first night the fire alarm went off at 130 in the morning. We were told by other patrons that it was a false alarm but tried to contact the front desk several times after the alarm went off and no one picked up. We got almost no sleep the entire time that we were there and the overall stay was just disappointing.

Room was clean, very nice. A bit dated room and mattress was not new- that said a good experience with nice staff. I stay there for the gym, good kettle bell selection up to 24kg which is good and decent sized for a hotel and has full free weight selection as well

We had a fantastic stay, we were really looked after! I mentioned it was my partners birthday and a bottle of wine, a card and some chocolates were left in the room for us. The view from our room was amazing!
