Our room was very spacious, well cleaned and bathroom amenities all topped up including plenty of towels. Easy to log onto the free wifi and really helpful concierge service. Breakfast was good with food being topped up with fresh items regularly. The swimming pool was much bigger than expected and we had a great time in there. Location was excellent, a couple mins walk to the river and Tower of London.

Hotel is lovely Having the lift out of service meant that it took almost 20 minutes to get to the ground floor and we almost missed our train! We really didnt expect this delay - very frustrating and stressful

Some days our room wasn’t cleaned until quite late & one day we needed to call for cleaning, my son had dropped some potato chips on the floor & it wasn’t vacuumed up. We had also pre emailed the property about the ability to hold our bags for 4 days while we took a side trip, they said they would do this for us if we booked to stay on our return, which we did. Upon asking to store our bags they asked for payment which could only be made in cash- even though we’d asked via email & there was never a mention of this. Upon return another staff member tried asking again for payment. Room was nice as per picture although the mirror in bathroom was suffering from mirror cancer & there was cracking paint on ceiling & stains on roof & carpet. The airconditioning didn’t work properly & the room was stifling ( weather was cool hate to think what it would be like in summer) we were given a small desk fan to help with airflow. This is a busy hotel, if you are travelling with family & booking due to a pool, there is only set times kids are allowed in & it’s not really kid friendly, more for adults. (That’s the feel) On a positive note I was celebrating a milestone birthday & they gave us a birthday welcome sweet & bottle of wine on arrival with a lovely card & a room with a view & breakfast daily which was really lovely. Overall would stay again if ensured that we are given one of the better rooms.

We had stayed here the week before for a week & a half, we booked & paid for the same room type but this room was very tired, shower over bath which was hard to get in & out of, the bathroom felt dirty with green scale on shower & taps & grout, only one flush was working on the toilet. Room was fine but hallway stunk of damp. When checking in there was no welcome back - & staff didn’t smile at you were just going through the motions, it was a better experience on our original stay.

Everyone at the desks were great. It was our 1st time in the UK. We didn’t realize we had to have a different adapter than the rest of Europe and the staff gave a charger to use but wouldn’t work so they charged our iPhones for us! The only disappointment we had was we asked the concierge to help us with getting a taxi to go to Buckingham and Kensington palaces and both of them brushed us off and said take the tube and literally turned their backs on us.
