The staff were lovely. I requested a room change as I had a door out to a service balcony and they moved me straight away. Lobby had a slight sewage smell the 1st day but gone the second day. I was in a quiet room but could hear bins being emptied at 1 am and 6 am so bring ear plugs.. city centre hotel.

Not a bad hotel, rooms dated

Overall okay stay. However the rooms - specifically the bathrooms are really dated and could do with some tlc. My shower would only work to one temperature which was hot, and there was no way to stop the water from the shower flooding the bathroom. The door seals had gone, the doors themselves didn’t shut properly and the shower was far too small if you wanted to try not flood the bathroom floor. Overall the room was clean but I noticed how dirty the remote was - it was actually filthy. It was hot in London and the air con hardly worked, the room was far too hot. Staff are polite and welcoming. Only a new niggles. It’s a fine hotel for business trips. Like I say it could do with a revamp in some rooms.

It was decent. However, I was in a bit of rush when I got to the room. One of the lights and the TV wasn't working. It got fixed, well I thought it had. The tv remote then didn't work. I didn't have time to ask for it to be fixed again. I was also told at the desk that breakfast was included. However, when I checked out,I was told I had to pay for it. I was too tired to say anything. But it cost me an additional £40. Don't believe everything they say on reception. It was a lie
