Hotel need an elevator

Hotel has the best location for transportation, but the problem is the hotel does not support an elevator to go upper level specially, if you have luggage no one to help you

The stay was great this time around. Had a kettle and microwave in the room. The beds were comfortable Stayed for two nights However the 2nd night we pulled a lot of long black hairs off the bedding most the night and this is not acceptable. And given the fact we are two blondes they definitely were not ours

Nice area but my room was very basic which normally is ok but i didnt have anywhere to put a towel (no hooks or rail in the bathroom). There was just one mirror so was difficult to straighten my hair as had to stand by the bathroom door to do it which was not practical.

Our room looked nothing like the pictures, it was tiny and out dated. But the worst part that there was a horrible sewage smell that would go away when we turned on the AC, the first few nights was tolerable but the last night it was so bad I didn’t even want to be in the room, when I brought it to the receptionists attention he did nothing about it expect offer us febreeze. Also keep in mind this hotel has no elevator and we had to climb 6 sets of stairs with two 50 lb suit cases. At no point was help offered during check in. When we checked out, I asked the same receptionist for help carrying them down. He said they didn’t provide that service and he couldn’t leave the desk to help…. He said they were a 3 star hotel not a 5 star. I also informed him that morning the hot water wasn’t working in the shower and he proceeded to tell me he felt I was just trying to bring up problems. I hadn’t mentioned anything at all until that day so that was not true. Overall the place is out dated (don’t go by the pictures they advertise they are so inaccurate). It’s not at all accessible, so if you can’t carry luggage up at least 2 flights of stairs don’t even bother staying here. They didn’t offer me a refund or any sort of help so don’t expect good customer service either. Save your money and go somewhere else. Not worth the price at all.

Fine for a few days stay

Okay sized room to sleep a family of 5. Quiet street which was good and always someone on the desk which was good. Bathroom really smelt (assuming drains). Little area for teas and a microwave. Good location

My partner and I stayed for a night following a theatre trip. The hotel was entirely adequate for our purposes. We felt that for a location so close to the centre of London, it was very good value. The shower was excellent, free wi-fi convenient and the proximity to Paddington Station was much appreciated. We slept well and coped with the stairs. The staff we encountered were kind and courteous.

Comfortable but check in procedure needs review

Pros: location, bed and pillows were comfortable, furniture wasnt tired, tea making facilities and shower was good. Reception was very friendly. Cons: room was small. Very minor: No rack in shower to put soap and shampoo. Big con: check in procedure is to copy all credit card details onto check in form with your address etc. This compromises your credit card. So in my room i immediately cancelled my credit card and now await a new one. Big
