Room was TINY- I have seen bigger small rooms on cruise ships. Air conditioning did not work our entire 6 night stay. Complained multiple times to the front desk and nothing was done. Apparently the HVAC crew just decided their own hours and couldn’t be bothered? Only on my checkout, when I complained for a 4th time or more, was I even offered a fan. They never mentioned it any other time and I complained at least 3 times.

Stayed here as a result of a failed booking elsewhere. Expected somewhat luxury at 500AUD a night and got a mouldy shower. Mentioned it to reception and got food vouchers. What I would have preferred was a clean bathroom. Overall for the price? Not happy.

Nice place to stay

Great location near Paddington Station—super convenient for getting around. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We booked a standard king room, which was fine for what we needed. Just a heads-up: rooms are smaller than what you might expect if you're used to U.S. hotels, but it worked well for our three-night stay. Daily housekeeping was consistent, and the fridge was always restocked. Overall, a great experience. We’d definitely stay here again.

Excellent Stay in London

Mecure Hyde Park Hotel was in a Great Location. Room was small but perfect for a two night stay, clean and efficient housekeeping. Staff were friendly and very helpful, as we forgot our phone charger and they sorted a charger for us straight away. We had breakfast included which was at the Bella Italia in the hotel it was delicious and we had a good choice. We will definitely be back.

The location is fantastic. Just a few minutes walk to Paddington Station. It is a beautiful building in the room was clean and comfortable. It took a while to figure out the heating in the room. The check-in staff were so friendly and helpful but the evening staff were not so much. I usually never get the breakfast included, but did this time and was extremely surprised and impressed with the selection and quality of the food.

Biblically overpriced for a tiny typical London room. Bed was hard, used and tired springs. Pillows similarly poor quality. Property has made no effort to put in ramps for disabled, or parents with push chairs. Navigating inside is like Tetris, again difficult with luggage and family and pushchairs. Decor is alright. Staff were super helpful when we asked for a cot, which we had requested in advance. “Free” snacks and soft drinks for the exorbitant and usurous room rate was nice though. There are much better hotels and not so small in London. Food options in Paddington are appalling. Tourist land but tourists deserve frankly better.. London and the UK is not what it was..
