Comfortable stay

Close to Paddington underground and train station; also close to a collection point for a couple of the hop on-hop off tours. Lots of food options in the area. The room was comfortable. The bathroom had heated floors which were too warm for our liking (didn’t appear to be a way to adjust this). Room air conditioning worked well. The safe lock did not seem to work; we called the front desk who said the instructions were inside the safe (they were not), and could not offer instructions. We stayed in a basement room (LG5); I recommend using the “sleeping” button on the room panel so that staff/guests are quieter in the hallways overnight and in the early hours.

Disappointing

We opened the door to room and were confronted with a flight of stairs up to the main part of the accommodation. This was the last straw after a day of lugging cases up and down stairs at various stations and on ferry crossing. Trip hazard, another step, into bathroom. Both room and bathroom very small and cramped. Noisy and vibrating air conditioning units immediately outside window. Nothing like our previous experience of this hotel. Staff not able to change room.

Close to paddington station

Hotel was close to train station. No early check in available though. They store luggage and had air conditioning. Bathroom was quite small.

The rooms were quite small & only had a double bed . The bathroom was very small . In order to close the door had to put yourself back as far as you could against the tub . We had room 403 . But ,overall property condition was very good

I booked this nearly a year previously an on the booking you selected how many beds. On arrival there was only double an smal sofa bed. I requested 2 singles an double which that’s what I paid for! I was told lies that there is no single beds. More lies I went on to the site to check there’s the option for 2 singles a double sofa. I also requested pillows of course there was none the pillows in the room were paper thin an I was told they’d only one spare to give me. The manger never bothered checking with me or even giving us more the next day! I wouldn’t recommend this place at all unhelpful a beds were ridiculous uncomfortable. I will be seeking a part refund for this as it’s not what I booked an then to be told a pack of lies! Unacceptable that these hotels just throw u in whatever rooms they want

Overall a good welcoming stay

Staff were helpful and accommodating. Room was clean and tidy. Bit tight around the beds accessing the fridge and lock box. Bathroom door also a bit tight. Beds comfortable, sheets felt nice. TV guide was in French and couldn’t change it back! Location felt safe especially considering London can feel a bit uncomfortable at night. Well lit streets. Easy access to Paddington.

very nice that its close to metro stations and had several places around to eat. only downside would be the tub was very high and hard to step into and they provided a small amount of toiletries. appreciated that we could leave our bags before check in. very helpful

Very close to Paddington Station. Clean but small room. Check-in staff were a bit abrupt on the phone to other customers and thwy answered the phone whilst checking us in which then delayed us and felt a bit rude. Breakfast was tasty but there were no coffee cups and staff didnt notice. Once informed they rectified the problem quickly. I returned to our table with my coffee only to find staff had put a dirty tray there, right in feont of my daughter, who was eating, whilst they took the room numbera of guests arriving in the dinig room. Just little things that could easily be ironed out.
