Fantastic location with good breakfast

My work arranged this hotel for my recent stay. Fantastic location. An older hotel and probably needs an upgrade however this would affect a price increase. The breakfast was good, just enough of a selection to satisfy. I extended my stay but upgraded to a double. Which meant I could use the lifts instead of the 3 flights of stairs and unusual labyrinth of paths to get to my single room. I would stay there again due to the perfect location.

As Expected, A Lovely Stay

We visited for the second time to find our room to be more spacious than last time, with a comfortable bed and a nice clean space. The staff were friendly and accomodating. The reason we stay is the location, it is out of the way so a peaceful night sleep is guaranteed, but main tube stations are a 5-10 minute walk. Local cafes and restaurants are nice. Once again we didn't eat at the hotel due to the amount of local amenities and options. There are one or two small elements which are dated, such as the shower head which didn't move, but it didn't impact our stay.

The staff are lovely and accommodating and the breakfast was excellent especially for the price. Negative points are that my room faced onto the noisiest air conditioning unit that rattled the entire night and really interrupted my sleep and the under floor heating in the bathroom was not working and so the bathroom was too cold to use. It was arctic in there! Really nice having slippers but a bathrobe to go with these would be great.

Club Double rooms are small!

We stayed in a Club Double Room and it was very small and the bathroom was tiny (about 2m x 1m!) Not what I would have expected paying for a Club Double. I don't know how small the Cosy Double or the Deluxe Double would have been! The room was nice though, we had a Super King bed and a free bottle of wine because it was Valentines Day

I stayed for 3 nights. I found that there was a flickering light on the ceiling. A hotel staff told me that I have to adjust the dimmer switch to fix that. Unfortunately the problem was still there and I have to turn off all the ceiling lights to make it more comfortable. In addition, they gave a tiny single bed and the bed sheets size was too small to cover the whole bed. A very annoying experience. I won’t recommend this hotel to anybody.

Stayed here for two nights while visiting London. Staff were lovely and friendly and accommodated an early check in for us. Room was small but clean and location was ideal. The only negative was the air conditioning system for the hotel was right outside our bedroom window so the noise was continuous so I would request a different room next time.

Nobody answers the phone

I left some property at the hotel. That's my fault. So I called to arrange for them to find it so I could come and pick it up. 17 times I had to call to get them to pick the phone up the first time. When I did finally get someone to answer the phone, the person I spoke to said to call back in about 15 minutes to give him chance to speak to house keeping. Okay, no problem. It then took another 8 times to get them to answer the phone. There's no way to leave a message either because when the call goes to voicemail after just 6 rings you get "this mailbox is full" The overall experience of the hotel was fine, but don't let the pictures on google decieve you. The rooms are tiny, but taken with a wide-angle lens so they look bigger. You're about a 10 minute walk from Paddington station which is served by National Rail services, The Elizabeth, District, Circle and Hammersmith & City lines.

The room was extremely well appointed with everything you could need. The cleanliness was amazing. All dealings with staff were very friendly and efficient.
