Cosy rooms at a good price

Stayed here overnight to catch an early Eurostar to Paris. I wasn't expecting much for the price of the stay for one night, solo traveler but was pleasantly surprised. I gave a rough check in time and the reception desk was well staffed, with a self service check in process. The gentleman was polite, professional and helped me to check in. He let me know of the bar on site and that they could help with any suggestions for dinner that night. The room was cosy but clean and comfortable. Perfect for a brief night and an early start. Will definitely use again for any future stays in the area. Only a 10 minute (max) walk to St Pancras/Kings Cross station and there are lots of restaurants nearby, many offer uber eats / deliveroo options. I had enough space to eat in my room and store my things for the night.

Too much road noise

Nice staff. Very small rooms. Didnt sleep at all due to lots of road noise. So bad I thought the window was open. Mentioned it to staff in the morning, and they told me of the 'no window room option'.

Really friendly hotel, great value

I stayed here overnight for an event at Parliament. It’s a lovely hotel, the staff are so thoughtful and considerate - I was ill the day before we stayed, they let us check in early so I could rest, and offered a late checkout as well. They were kind. Highly recommend it

It was a great property for minimalists. They allow for luggage storage for a minimal cost. The morning breakfast was a good kickoff to the day and the location was great from a transportation viewpoint. They used tech in the room and a bit of information about what does what would have been appreciated. Thank You!

Budget Hotel- Walking Distance to Stations

This hotel is within easy walking distance to King's Cross Station. It is clean, quiet and the staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. The downsides: It is a "budget" hotel so the rooms are small and not carpeted. There are no kettles in the rooms and no tissues. It is a "high tech" hotel - you check yourself in and out; there are no phones in the rooms (so no way to reach the front desk unless you have a cellphone) and the heating system is an unusual electronic one. I had to get the front desk to reset mine as the room was cold. There is a breakfast room (with cold breakfast if you pay for it). There were several better breakfast options across the road. The seating on the main floor is comfortable and I noted a number of folks working on their computers there. Drinks are available at a cost. There is a pub next door but you have to walk several blocks to find more healthy restaurant options. This can be an issue after dark. I bought sandwiches and fruit at a Coop grocery across the street. I think I would find a more comfortable hotel for another visit but this is a great option if you want value, a quiet hotel and proximity to King's Cross/St Pancras Stations.
