Very friendly, easy check-in. Street side room so a bit of noise, not bad tho’. Quite a bit of blue light in the room once overhead lights were out, semi- bothersome. Nice hotel with friendly staff. It is a typical small "London" city centre hotel. Very clean but because it is close to a train station and the underground is hallow, you will hear and feel some rumbling even on the 3rd floor so I imagine lower or ground level is more noticeable. Door is well sealed because you can hear people talking in the hall (was awaken by loud talking). I love booking with Expedia but breakfast is included if you booked directly and when I check, it would have cost the same. You should check first before booking via 3rd party.

Rooms are clean, We stayed in the windowless room option. Couple of issues, you can hear the tube in the rooms (in our room at least which was 17) and the music from upstairs during the day. The tube keeps going past midnight and starts up again at 05:00 in the morning so its not a restful night sleep. The fire light doesn't allow you to make the room fully dark either which kept me awake. The staff are lovely, its a good location, I just wouldn't ever go for the windowless option its not worth it! the rooms are fine and comfortable apart from the above.

Cheap room in January so no major complaints. But my room was on the first floor facing the main road so it was quite noisy. The room had a window but more like a porthole with a curtain. So it was quite dark during the morning when I was trying to work. For the price I paid it was good

Great location, clean and friendly

The hotel is in a great location for getting anywhere in London. The room and property was clean and staff is friendly and helpful. The green light on the fire alarm was bright enough to light up the whole room and do shadow puppets if you desired. Also you can hear and feel the Tube go by if you are staying on the lower level. However the tube noise was not at all bad but the light was a bit disturbing to sleep.

Location, location and location

Very close to Paddington Station to het around London. Breakfast is fresh and delicious. Hotel staff attentive and helpful to answer all your questions. You have a Tesco Express across the street for your grocery needs.
