Check-in was fine and the location was very good however the hotel is very tired, limited amenities. The room was of a good size albeit it overlooked scaffolding next door so difficult to keep the blinds down and the bathroom was very small.

I came away with bite marks the following day. The hotel may have some items that are like a radisson but the rooms are very basic 2*. I asked for an iron and no one provided me with one. Breakfast was radisson standard and the staff in the restaurant were exceptional. My low rating is because of the room state, and bite marks.

Nice enough hotel in a good location. Staff did a great job and were very welcoming. Did an excellent job at making you feel welcomed. Bathroom was a tad cramped and air conditioning / heating unit in the room was extremely loud (and meant the windows weren’t properly shut). Street noise quite loud.

The room was quiet tired, both the toilet and the sink were cracked, and the shower door was difficult to use - it made an awful screeching sound when closed or opened. Plus, it was very difficult to operate the shower (due to the bi-fold door) without standing in the cubicle and getting cold water until it warmed up. It was a small room, not even space for a chair. I spoke to the front desk, expressing my feelings about the room and was just informed that "it's a Radisson Blu Boutique" hotel. At no point in my booking process, nor on the website, was this hotel listed as "Boutique". The guttering outside of the window obviously had a leak too, as there was a persistent loud tapping sound throughout the night. I would be unlikely to stay here again, especially when the hotel across the street (with large sized rooms) is only a few pounds more for the night! The upside to this hotel is the attached restaurant, Steak and Lobster - it's great.

The standard double room was the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in, and not laid out well enough to be that small (unlike other hotels). Shower pressure was terrible, and either boiling hot or freezing cold. Room and facilities were all quite dated and worn.
