We didn't have the best experience with this hotel from start to finish, unfortunately. The front desk -- the men, specifically, talked over my wife and changed their tune when I speak to them. The place claims to have AC but it did not work in our room. We had to ask for a fan to circulate the stuffy air. The lift didn't work for pretty much the duration of our stay. We enjoyed the location. It's a walking distance to Earl's Court, the V & A, and Gloucester if you can handle walking a bit further.

Air conditioning did not work. I could not sleep. Too noisy outside to keep window open. Water pressure in the shower was terrible, could barely get all the soap washed off. Bed was very hard and uncomfortable. I could feel the springs. Terrible experience. This is NOT what I'm used to expect from a Marriott hotel. No parking provided either... This really ruined my whole weekend. Stay away from this place.

Excellent stay at Residence Inn. Breakfast was fantastic with a great spread and choices. Room was comfy and the hotel is actually around 8-10 min walk from West Kensington underground station. Fantastic staff and hopefully we will be back soon.

Hotel checked us into a room where they knew AC didn’t work. Spent 1 night in hot, stuffy room because staff said hotel was full. Manager did upgrade us to a better room on 2nd night. Overheard other guests complaining of no AC as well. I of 2 elevators was out of service. This is a large hotel and guests waited in line to use elevator and it was full when doors opened on many floors. Guests with luggage or prams waited for several full elevators to pass. First room had soiled carpet and upholstery. Couch had buttons hanging off cushions or missing. Some mold in shower. Hotel is worn and need of maintenance

Location is good and staff very friendly. In front of the hotel you find a nice Italian restaurant with many options. Next to the hotel there is a big Tesco supermarkt.

Nice hotel, air conditioning was not working, room was so hot! One of the elevators was broken so we waited very long to get to and from room. Breakfast was good but area was so hot and uncomfortable to enjoy the food

Staying here was like an extension of being home. The doorman was excellent and very friendly. The front desk staff were excellent, special mention to Aisha, Saif and Biola. They were very friendly and professional. They went extra to always help out with making my stay pleasant.

Mix of good and bad experience

The staff was nice and friendly, the breakfast was good, and the room was in good shape. It could be a good stay, however there was a bad experience in check-in. Even when I have presented my driving license confirming my identity, I was mixed up with another unrelated customer, and I was charged a huge amount of money, but in fact I have already paid online during booking for the night I stay. Luckily I checked the credit card App and discover the incident when reaching my room. The staff reacted efficiently and have the problem resolved after some checking and verification.

Positives: Free breakfast each morning was very good and available long hours so no need to hurry before they closed it down. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. Tesco superstore 5 minutes away. One negative was the A/C in the room was very ineffective. I kept it turned down to 18c (65F) and the room still felt very warm, almost hot, the entire time, and that was with outside temps that were very cool! The lobby also got hot every afternoon. Not many good dining options in easy walking distance so bus rides are needed.

We enjoyed our stay there. Easy to find and get transportation to central London. Very nice facilities and our room had a balcony for extra seating. For those who smoke, there’s a covered seating area out front. The staff are great.
